Today ink and toner based printing are common processes. Toner is most common in digital copy machines, laser printers, and fax machines. Ink is used in the offset printing process. Each of these processes has its technical strengths and weaknesses. At MacMurray Graphics & Printing, Inc. we strive to provide the correct process for your application. The end result is durable, cost effective printing.We offer offset printing with spot color along with digital toner based printing in both black and white and color. Often we combine these processes in the manufacture of some projects. For example, manual covers may be printed with spot color ink and combined with digital black and white inside pages. Likewise a full color digital cover may be combined with inside black and white pages.
For products overprinted with a laser printer like letterhead, envelopes, and invoices, we recommend these are manufactured with laser safe ink. Some inks can melt in laser printers and toner products overprinted will frequently be damaged. At MacMurray Graphics & Printing, we use only laser safe inks for these applications.
